My fave curse word at the moment is “punyeta”. Though I use “tangina” quite a lot. (or when i don’t want to actually curse, I’ll just say tunginuh)
Wow this was trickier than i thought, since the phrasing isn’t always the same :))) This is the closest translation that I can come up with:
Karapat-dapat si Percy Jackson na makuha ang mundo. Hindi niya dapat kailangang iligtas ito ng walang tigil.
Part2 I wanted to talk to her, say something. Naturally I tripped over my feet, landing almost on her pastel flats. “You okay?"Her voice was warm and pure I nodded, not trusting my words She helped me up with soft hands "My name’s Ishel and you are?”

For @ishelmascarinas, a silly little writer’s description:
“I wasn’t sure what exactly had drawn my attention to the girl sketching in the corner of the coffeeshop. Cute, I guess, dressed in a matching polka-dotted top and flared skirt that reminded me vaguely of the 50s. She was bent over the table, one hand dedicated to scribbling out forms in dark ink, the other absentmindedly lifting Cheetos to her mouth. Occasionally, she’d brush back a strand of hair - though I had no idea why, since the dark mass had been clipped back and styled into a pixie cut. I took another sip of my now-cold coffee and observed her, hoping I didn’t look like a creep. There was just something about her, though, that intrigued me.
And when she lifted her head slightly and caught my eye, the edges of her lips lifted and tugged upwards into a bright smile. I smiled back, lifting a hand in greeting.
How great of a person she must be to smile at me like that.”
